Help! Replacing Driver side front Lower Control Arm

I'm in the process of replacing my drivers side lower control arm and I've taken all the bolts out except for the upside down vertical bolt. I've gotten it about 75% of the way out and now it just spins in place without coming any further out.

I can reach my hand around to feel where the cage nut is at the top of the bolt and the bolt seems to be completely free of this nut and when I turn the bolt the cage nut stays in place.

What can I do to get this bolt out? I'm running out of ideas!

Heres some pics of my situation:

Seems like the bolt might be stuck to the bushing, and thats why its not coming out. Also take off the ball joint and just try moving the control arm towards you and the car see if that lets the bolt drop.

Success in getting the bolt out.

Out of lack of ideas I tried hammering to bolt up a bit. It actually moved a fair bit, after that I tried ratcheting it out and eventually out it came!

Now the install of the new arm is frustrating, but I'm glad I've made some progress.
