inner control arm bushing replacement?

inner control arm bushing replacement?

so car has 220,000 miles so my innerbushing is pretty loose n i figure i should replace it. i got it out pretty easy but how in the hell do i get the new one in? i need a press kit of sorts but idk what to look for exaclty or should i be ghetto and cut the flange to put it in? idk any ideas are appreciated

I couldn't get them to go in straight with a hand press. I took them to a shop And he pressed them in for 20 dollars

i managed to get it in very ghettoly with a impact on a spring compressor. i guess getting a press wouldnt of helped me then and i did the right thing..... lmao

throw the bushing in the freezer overnight, helps alot, and heat the arm up a bit

i had a shop do them and they worked out great! most people dont have a press at home

I ruined an arm by trying to press 1 in and got it slightly off angle causing alum material to be removed. I would have suggested letting the pros do it.

u bought powell cabs tho right? cuz i just bought rubber ones i was thinking for my ss tho that i might wanna try the powells how good are they? like are they alot stiffer?
