Knocking noise. All new parts. Video
Hey guys, got a video of this noise I been hearing for a while now. Need help figuring out what it is. Some history of the car below:
2008 lnf, new axles, brakes, struts, shocks, and springs. All done in the last 3k.
Had a new trans put in in 2014 and had ottp trans mounts, control arm bushings, ball joints, and tie rods done then too.
I'm leaning towards cabs but I'm thinking how did my current ones only last ~15k. Haven't done sway bar end links. You guys let me know what u think

Can't hear it real well, does it do it over bumps, elevation changes, when you take off from a stoplight, around tight curves? Louder when you get on it? Do you have any torque steer under wot?

Makes noise when I take off and when I'm almost coming to a complete stop. Don't really hear it over bumps, but turns I do. Doesn't have to be at full lock. So to reiterate, I hear the knock during light accel/decel, any turn angle and more so when reversing.

I'm really thinking it sounds like an engine or trans mount. When I push in the clutch to come to a stop it seems like a lot of movement coming from up front and the noise is present.

It's getting worse every day now. Does anyone know how many motor mounts are on these lnf's and where they're located? I see the one up top but don't know where the others are. Also, I will have a video up from outside for you guys to hear in a little bit.

Kind of shot in the dark but what about Intermediate Steering Shaft? My gf's is going bad (base model cobalt) and I am beginning to think mine is (09 LNF 130km). She gets a bad knocking when braking and it sounds like a rattle if you jiggle the wheel under braking.

The intermediate shafts do rust and fall apart if exposed to salt. If that's it you should feel a little dead zone in your car going down the road when you turn your wheel side to side.

The noise ended up being a ball joint. The problem now is that my steering knuckle is cracked where the ball joint meets. The part is $251 from the dealer and takes 5-7 days to get here. Couldn't find it anywhere locally.
