yo peeps, since tokico is dropping the ball with their hp shocks, koni just came out with the STR.T street shocks, that will be good for lowered cars, without the need for adjustment. just direct replacment. so lets bug the **** out of em and get them to produce these bad boys for the cobalt.
contact http://www.koni-na.com/contact.cfm
phone 859-586-4100, lets do it peeps, lets get some replacemnt shocks, not everyone wants adjustable shocks.

not every one wants adjustable, not everyone wants to fork over 600 bucks for shocks. especially when you have to hack up the fronts. some people just want a good replacement that will handle lowering plain and simple. its called options, more options the better, not one thing is good for everyone.

I understand that but its not a hard or complicated process to put the yellow Konis in
i agree, and if i had the money then i would love to get their coilovers.

Yeah, price is the main thing. Not everyone wants to pay ~$700 for the yellows when the orange (STR.Ts) are ~$300 for a full set.
It depends on the application. I was looking on the Honda del Sol application because they make both for it.
They're $141 for that, about half the price of the yellows. I'd guess IF they made them for the Cobalt and it was about the same cost ratio, they'd be about $175 for fronts, $160 for the rears.

Yeah, I mean for someone who doesn't want the adjutability I think this is a fantastic option. If you're just going to be cruising around and want a little stiffer ride, they'd be fine and there's no sense in spending the extra money for functions you don't need.

id be down, ill give them a call and send an email later.

500 isn't a bad price, but anything under 1,000 is great for a full suspension change out.

I'm emailing them right now.
I lowered my car pretty much for appearance. I don't race because it's a 2.2L, I don't autox because being lowered puts me in a class I can't win anyways, so i don't care about the adjustability either.
$350-400 sounds so much nicer than like $600 and hacking up your stock struts.
Alright... add me name to the list of emails sent to them

I tried calling them, but I couldn't figure out who to speak to.
I'll email them right now.
If I were to race my car, I'd just buy coilovers.
Edit: I just submitted a contact form. I'll call them again tomorrow.
