try to get the springs cheap if you can't install it yourself, because adding coils to your struts is a pain in the ass, sure the rear takes about 30 minutes, but the front takes 2 hours + new endlinks if you have the right tools.

Decent thread, it helped me make a final decision - went with CM spring.
They shipped them out on tuesday and they arrived friday!
Dealt directly with CM.

Just a tip to those who dont have the tools to replace the front strut springs. You can take the two front struts out, mark them left and right, take them to a dealer or shop and have them install the springs with their compressor. Shouldnt be much more than half hour labour.

I put them in about 3 weeks ago and they got 1/4-1/2 inch lower, and I was going to get them aligned when I put my new summer tires on.

FE5 shocks/struts w/Pedders
16x7 Silver Painted Sport Edition F7 w/205/55R16 Continental PureContact with EcoPlus Technology from Tire Rack

Centerline of wheel to fender before 15 1/4 front and rear (with stock 195/60R15)
after 14 front and 14 1/4 rear (w/205/55R16)
numbers may be off a little since initial measurement was on flat surface and finished was in wavy driveway.

Opted for Pedders and 16s for the ride, winter compromise, and potholes

Hello guys, I'm new to this site and I've installed my eibach sportline in my 09 Cobalt SS. The rear doesn't look as low as the pictures in here. It's been a month and a half now since I've installed it. What could I have done wrong? :/

Any of you guys know about coil bind (dead coils)? I was reading about it yesterday and people were saying that the dead coils are supposed to be on top? Reason i ask is because the dead coils on my ksports are on the bottom.. I'm just curious as to what the difference would be if i turned them over

When I flipped my CM springs the right way up the rear end was a bit less bouncy.

Ya it's supposed to be dead coils on top. I installed mine upside down too and then when I flipped them I didn't notice any changes.
