so once again i have the question of the day! which aftermarket spring would give the smoothest ride? i currently have zenn springs and i hate them, they bounce too much and you can feel ever bump!! i want to get a whole new setup struts and springs not looking for coil-overs just replacing suspension. anyone has any feedback on monroe struts? polyuthrane bumpers, or camber kit?

For you SS/TC guys...
The SSC springs have the closest to stock spring rates and ride quality you can find. They don't improve or degrade the already good handling of the TC but just drop it.

anyone have pics of a ls dropped on ssc springs
i have no clue what to drop with. i like the drop sportlines give but i want a smoothe ride some people say they give you a harsh ride. and i want to get rid of the wheel gap bc i have 18s i run in the summer. so if someone can give me suggestions on good springs with good quality to drop a ls with that would be good

So, between B&G and H&R, who is the lowest? It looks to me like B&G, but I see them on mostly sedans and H&Rs on coupes, and the sedans should be a tad heavier thus maybe a tad lower?

I see your point menace. i'm not sure of the weight difference but I'm sure with either of them sprigns you'll be sitting pretty low. keep in mind wheel size does factor in as well. Usually the bigger wheels seem to fill the space better.

I will have stock 5 lug steelies and caps for now. I am gonna space them out to sit a little more flush for now. I can get the H&Rs for about $100 cheaper than the B&Gs though, so if they're close, then H&Rs it is.

Year/Model: 2008 SS/TC
Type of Springs: Eibach Pro-Kit
Struts: Stock SS/TC
I know that it is far from low enough for 99.99% of the Cobalt community but I love the stance and handling. It IS lower than stock!!!

It's a little lower than stock and it handles better than my Sportlines do I'm sure. I'm ready to go the same route...I'm thinking I want to get rid of my Sportlines in favor of either the Pro-kit or Pedders so that I have better performance/handling even though I won't be as low.
