I can't understand why people refer to the progessive bar as a sway bar when it is not connected to the body of the car in any way.
The progessive bar stiffens the rear suspension assembly and for hard cornering that may help some but it is impossible for it to control body roll as it is not connected to the body.

simple physics... if it connects both wheels together, that prevents the outside wheel from dropping down, therefore, not letting the body...roll... if both wheels are dependent of each other, they will not have independent vertical arm lengths, keeping the body straight.
trust me, i feel a big difference, not HUGE, but it is noticeable.

I went with similar setup.... Suspension techniques rear sway, Prokit springs and MRZ strutbar.... the difference is PHENOMENAL. car handles like a dream and the handling has saved my ass a couple times with the ******* drivers around here.
to the guy who said springs are FTL.... you're an idiot.... do some research. there is nothing wrong with lowering springs. if you do use sportlines on stock suspension you will probably wear them out quicker than normal, but some of the guys on here have had them on their cars for years and 1000's of miles with no problems

To me this serves as a stiffener and not a true sway bar.

for me, i plan on having this car for close to another 3 years, and i dont feel like having to buy new struts down the road, thats why i am hesitant on getting lowering springs. i have done A LOT of research on all the parts i have bought for my car, and i definatly dont do anything the half assed way.

haha cougs... i wasnt calling you an idiot... obviously you have done your hw. there was the one dude that simply stated springs are ftl.
If you are going to get sportlines, you are going to wear shocks out much faster and will the have to upgrade. like cougar said, anything more than 1.5" and you are going to be beyond the normal threshold of the spring, but that does not mean catastrophic failure.

Slightly off topic, but as we're talking about struts. I'm running SS/SC springs on 2.2 struts and shocks, would upgrading the struts make a noticeable difference? I know the shocks will, how about struts?

the ss/sc springs are the safest way to lower our ls's without having to replace the struts. from what i have read, u may never have to worry about replacing the stock struts. but u might wanna double check with some else cuz im not a car guy, im just a baker. lol

realmente sono 50% siciliano e 50% italiano
i've been to sorrento stayted there for about a week too. up until 2 years ago, we used to go to italy every summer for bout at least a month and stay with family all over the country.
my dads family is from a small city outside of palermo sicily (it might be the city that the godfather lived in and it might not be ), and my moms family is from a small city outside of rome.
