New suspension on the SS/TC.

I just put the Eibach Sportline's on my TC. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea because they are made for the SC. They actually made a pretty good sleekness.

This is before

And after

It really wasn't bad at all. There were al couple of spots on the highway that made my stomach bounce but other than that it has handled to it really well.

I remember when I first dropped my Cobalt. Felt every drop and bump in the road. Loved the feel though.

Looking good!

SWEET STEVEN! those are definitely a well needed addition to every cobalt. have fun with the bumps, and get an alignment before yours gets as bad as mine.

I never needed a alignment with mine.

Yes I hooked up a alignment machine after being lowered, and it was still perfect alignment.

Thanks! I will try to post a video of my exhaust. I'm still new to the site and even uploading pictures is hard for me. Anyway my exhaust is a Megan Racing N1 Turbo Muffler with custom 3" piping from the cat all the way to the muffler. I'm bout to order the downpipe from synaspe turbo so that would make it 3" piping from the top all the way back.

Cobalt: Lowers vehicle 1.6" Front, 1.8" Rear
Cobalt SS: Lowers vehicle 0.0" Front, 0.5" Rear (This vehicle will receive minimal lowering due to lower factory ride heights.)

So you did the Cobalt SS: Lowers vehicle 1.0" Front, 1.3" Rear for the regular cobalts? or the prokit?

you got a link on where ya ordered from?

just wondering cause when i search. it says the sportlines are for the base only cobalts. and the SS springs in pro kit only show it lowers the back

And what I like is the reduced fender gap. The TC has 225/40/18's. Little wider than the 215/45/18's on the SC. Been looking for some pics of Sportlines and 225/40/18's cause I know the sidewall is shorter than on the 215's. And with out lowering is would look like a 4x4 fender gap. Or like in the first pic.
Nice pics. You just helped me decide on my set up. Sportlines and 225/40/18's !!!!

Have you gotten any clanks/clunks in the rear when going over bumps? Did you leave the clear tubing on the rear springs? I installed them on my 07 2.4 first then swapped them on my 08 SS/TC with the same result. clankitty clank.. They did it from day one for me. You can even see the worn/rusted areas on the springs where I guess they are binding too hard. The fronts still look brand new. I do love the look and the ride though. Just learned to deal with the noise.

We have sportlines on our cobalt also... Along with the TTR rear 1.0" sway bar. The car handles 10X better it seems.

mine was toe-ing like crazy. lol. but mine is a lot lower than the eibachs cuz i got the ssc springs and they are more of what i was lookn for in lowering for cheap.
