my mechanic said I need a Collar or some thing to install these shocks??? He says hes not sure if he can even cut the struts....I guess bring it somewhere better?

Check the thread in the Auto-X forum on RLF.com. You can do it, but it's not the nice easy setup on the balts. Our upper mounts are different, so you need to do some trimming and remove the front strut if you want to adjust them.
On that note, I will be putting them in my car before the next auto-x season starts up. Anyone have suggestions for tried and true settings for auto-x?

Oh I know I'll have to do some test and tune but I'm just looking for a quick baseline since unlike you lucky bastards I'll have to take out my front struts to adjust them since its a RL and not a balt. Thanks for the help tho.

oh damn i forgot you have to remove the whole thing to adjust it, I would go with the half to 3/4 turn from full firm and that should be a good starting point. Just keep in mind you have about 2 full turns or so of adjustment.
