wow car looks great, looking forward to seeing the difference on the YYZ's.

you will love the Yellows all around. i have them on SSc's and the car is a blast. i have the set to about what wang suggests.

careful, i didnt realize when i bought them that the front adj, is opposite the rear, as i ought mine second hand and I didnt get the knob right away. i went full hard up front, Holy Harsh! just pay attention! you'll know it if its wrong.

Am I impressed with how the YYZ's have handled so far? yes, they are fantastic

what I'm not so pleased about is the fact that I have a whole new set of clunks/rattles that seem to have appeared since install when going over bumps, damn cobalt and its clunky suspension.... n everything is torqued properly so I'm at a loss as to why such a mild drop spring would cause these clunks to occur.. I have stock Fe5 shocks/struts, YYZ, and hardcore bar (if that even matters, it shouldnt)

You should not have any clunks at all. Mine is silent, though my steering rack makes some noise at low speed. You need to make sure the spring hats are turned the right direction at the top of the springs. The tab should point inwards, towards the engine. If you want to rule out swaybar issues, remove one endlink altogether, and see if the noises stop.

spring hats were turned facing the engine just as you said so I know thats correct, I can quadruple check them just to be certain. They basically seat themselves in at the proper angle when installing as long as put in the correct general spot right? by that I mean they cant be off 10-20 degrees in either direction can they? i used john's "no spring compressor" method, so its pretty next to impossible to see up there and get them aligned to a specific angle, I just know they are facing the right general direction

if i throw ^that^ out as a cause, really the only thing that this could be coming from would be the endlinks (like you mention) so I may have to try the "disconnect & drive" technique your describing to see if endlinks are to blame

the sound when going over any type of small rapid bump is hard to describe, but its definately a plastic on plastic or metal on plastic type of sound.. NOT metal on metal for sure...

like I said, I'm extremely happy with how they handle! just not a fan of this clunking issue I'm having at the moment

I too am having slight "clunking" issues. It's not bad but noticible and starting to annoy me. I also didn't use spring compressors but swear the top hats are pointed inwards

I have the stock LCA's and 2 events on them and other than that I have no idea what the previous owner put them through (i bought it at 40k and now am at 53k)

whats the easiest way to go about checking them?

also: could bad LCA's cause bad inner tire wear? cuz I noticed I had almost heavy negative camber type wear and my alignment shouldnt have been kicked out that bad from anything

When i had my car on the lift we couldnt tell the bushings were bad at first then I had my buddy drive the car by me and hit the brakes hard, you can literally see the wheel jump forwards and backwards in the wheel well, thats the easiest way to see it.

I'm getting the same rattle up front that Matt (padlock) is, but I find it hard to believe that my LCA bushings are already wore out. My car has 16k miles on it, a handful of autox events, and one track event.
