uggh, how many times does it have to be repeated. these are not ordinary drop springs. They enhance the handling characteristics of the car. Lower ride height was a nice side effect.

Everywhere I've found them is gonna charge you right at $360. That's the price through OTTP and Pedders directly

The drop difference between pedders, and sportlines, is about a 1/4 inch in the rear.

I wish people would stop acting like they are stock ride height.

Front is the same drop, rear is higher by about a 1/4 inch.

I might copy and paste this post over 9000 times so people can stop talking about how these springs don't drop a car at all.

******* shitballs.

i never said they didn't drop the car at all. i just don't think they drop the car very nice. i'm picky about the way a car looks when its lowered. my question is, is everyone buying these springs because they are popular and end up never putting their car in a situation where they are needed. our cars already handle like a go-kart from the showroom floor.

People dont buy pedders because they are popular because they are not. They are more expensive than the others.

They drop compared to stock.
They ride as good as or better than stock.
The dont bottom out and coil bind on the second bump on rough roads like drop springs from the others.
The wont break like the others.

You can do what you like If you like the car dropped more at the rear than the back, then perhaps you would prefer a lo rider. Get air ride, and stay out of the "people with pedders" thread coz u are not part of the discussion, you dont want to be here . You said so.

Go karts handle differently to Cobalts. You get out of a 1960 Buick?

The people who did their research and bought them for the right reasons.

As mentioned multiple times, if you just want a drop, don't bother, but if you want handling, then you wont care to pay the price and wont even care if it drops at all or not.

So, just to clarify...I have Sportlines...2" front 2.5" rear...you're saying that the Pedders are the same in front and right around 2.25" rear? If so, I will definitely be getting these.

I saw Maven's pics of his cars on them, but qwikredline's pics are no longer available...I'm really curious what they'll look like on a sedan with 18x8 wheels and 225/40 or 235/40 tires (I'm thinking about going with a 235/40 for my summer tire). I have MSR 045's that I want to get some tires for, but I don't know if I'm going with 225/40 or if I want to go wider on the tires with the same sidewall series (meaning taller overall to close up the gap).

So many decisions....

And, these do handle a lot better than anything out there? I'm delivering pizza for a 2nd job now and I want a car that handles well and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart over speed bumps, pot holes, etc. The Pedders are what I want correct?

I want to get SS/TC struts and shocks soon (may as well save up for the Pedders as well) and install it all with my steering rack spacers and engine and tranny mounts. Also going to possibly add an FE5 LNF front sway to compliment my OTT street bar.

If you notice on the first page of this post, you will see a SS/TC Sedan w/ Pedder springs, using its ss/tc struts and 18's (which are 225/40R18). The car handles great, has a nice firm ride, even smoother then stock over bumpy roads and does exactly what I wanted when I purchased this setup.....

I need to look into these. I'm tired of the painful driving with the Sportlines over pot bumps.

245 on 17 x9.0 Pedders and TC struts; Redline trims about 3/16 higher at the front than Cobalt due to strut spacer to fit Cobalt springs.

Same place different day on 225 on 18 x 7.5

so people generally agree that pedders either keep or improve the stock ride quailty in terms of comfort and they improve handling and drop it?

never said i didn't wanna be here. and, if i had a 1960 buick i wouldn't wanna get out of it. it wwould be worth alot of money. why are you guys so touchy about these springs? all i said is i don't like the drop! i'm just waiting for someone to convince me of why i would wanna buy these. but, instead yall talk a bunch of smack. as far as i have seen this isn't a private thread and i can post and ask questions and make comments.

now, i'm asking legitmate questions and getting immature answers. is it a bunch of teenagers owning cobalts these days?
