Performance Driving Bulletin from dealerworld....

Alright, car went in to our shop today for oil change.... i got to talking to Jimmy at the parts desk, seeing what bullitens where on dealerworld, and we find this.....

Alternate Sterring Knuckles...... Says to advise owners who intend on using their vehicles for competitve driving that GM has upgraded steering knuckles.....
someone tell me what these are???
also gives these figures for the alignment, which i def. dont know what they mean but here they are

Camber
Front= -1.5 +/- .75 degrees
Rear= -1.5 +/- .75 degrees

Caster
Front= 3.65+/-.75 degrees

Toe
Front= .20+/-.5 degrees
Rear= .25+/-.5 degrees

Says this alignment setting provides for an even tire wear in competitive driving.... and for competitive driving only......

Judjing the treadwear on the pirelli's, without doing any unnecesary spinning, I hit 11,000 miles today, and by 13,000 i will have new tires.... i know they only have a 200 treadwear, but i have never beaten on the car..... Someone help me out on this one??

i believe the steering knuckle is the jointed piece of the steering arm that allows the steering arm to move with the suspension...i could be wrong though

is this just different numbers for alignment, or are there any purchases for the steering knuckle?

thanks for the part numbers but that could be just assigned hours to do the alignment, what if any are the purchased items, are you replacing the knuckles or is it just work done on the car?
