pics with Sportlines

Okay the addition of Sportlines is done. My photochop was pretty close to the actual results!
Stock springs

With Sportlines

Contrast in light was done on purpose to show off body lines.

I think this is the best spring kit going. WHy? balanced height when you done. the ride is better than old over sharp edged bumps (you dont feel every crack in the road) the only negative is that it is easier to bottom out the suspension.

I have not cut bump stops as many said it is not needed. If you have and feel its necessary please PM me. that would be great.

Thanks for looking

Thankyou so much, Now I want tint and then more performance just in time for bigger fatter tires.

I am looking in to making the rims 8inch. I like the factory rims and it just looks stock. I hope to fit the 235 or maybe 245's then pump up the HP to really surprise other cars in our area. Got to back up the look with performance you KNOW... LOL

Geez, looking at the before and after shots really makes the stock suspension seem 4X4!

That looks absolutely hot. I have to get some Sportlines now! I am wingless as most of you know, and that is exactly how I want my ride to look!

So was the antenna shaved off or what? I'm kinda confused on how he turned it upside down?

If you go to the link in my signature and go to page 4 you will see a pic of the antenna there upside down.

Word of caution - I dont get great reception and working on improving. I just put on a shorty antenna and I am not satisfied. Strong stations are alright. The solution is hopefully the universal amplified antenna I purchased from autozone. I will let you all know how that goes.

Shaved means Replace holes with metal and bondo (used a special putty here that works like metal) then prepped and painted. this was professionally done by a company called colour melt. shop around if your going to do it. Cost $800CDN but I got $220 CDN for the wing.

Want to do for cheaper and better? find someone with a color of cobalt the same as you with no wing and trade trunks. then do the lock. then do the antenna once I work out reception bugs.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. If you go to my CARDOMAIN page please rate me!

EDIT - I to got my idea to go wingless and sportlines from others. I saw a photoshop of no key hole here and decided to do that plus the antenna.

If it hits real hard now it probably won't help, revalved shocks would be good though. I read you're going to larger wheels and wider tires, with the Sportline spings you could end up with tire rub. JMO

I really like the ride right now. I heard it tightens up after break in. Also I may have been miss informed. I didnt recieve information with the springs about the bump stops. It bottoms on hard hits. that would be cleared up by cutting them to Eibachs specifications. I am still look for this info. I will be calling Eibach I guess.

That is always a consideration about the bigger tires.

the springs are a variable rate. Eibach engineered these to work with factory equipment that is why you pay the money. right now the suspension has only 2" of travel. the shock and spring are not able to work as intended. so we shall see. the problem is I dont want to do the install twice. the rear bumps stops is not that bad to deal with. front is another issue.
