get the hardcore bar the XXX is pretty much set up for track use, others will chime and state the same thing. this has been discussed quite often i even have a thread on the topic. HC bar is bout $200 i believe plus shipping and from others that already have the product they will say its well worth the mod...

Even if you are going to track it later, you aren't going to want to start with a XXX.

Get the hardcore, you'll be fine.

Do you already have track experience? If so, XXX. If not, Hardcore. IMO, for experienced track drivers, the Hardcore bar is pretty mild.

dont think that is what he is saying. he wanted the stiffer of the two and instead got the softer of the two. he didnt pay for the xxx and get the HC.

^No, they cause a decent amount of lift off oversteer, if your not paying attention and you take an offramp and let off the gas quick-----TOKYO DRIFTO

yea letting off the gas mid corner could turn out terrible if you arent careful.. there's already been a ss/tc at the track that wrecked due to this

Yep, and he wasn't even running the XXX bar, just the HC bar. I don't understand why so many people are hell bent on getting the XXX bar. Just because Powell makes it, and its bigger than the HC bar, people automatically assume they need it.

true story

the HC bar is just about perfect for me at AutoX, some times a XXX would be nice to try though... that said, there have been a few corners where I could feel my tail end start to swing out with my HC bar on higher speed on-ramps where you have to make sure you stay on the throttle so your sway bar doesnt "spring" you into the ditch.. I mean I was taking a 30mph circular ramp at 65 but thats besides the point

I don't know what you guys are doing, but my car doesn't rotate quickly, or oversteer. It just does what it should now. I can lift mid turn, and the amount of oversteer that occurs is very small, IMO. Nowhere near what I would call fast.

Never had the rear step out in the rain or cold.
