Powell HC sway bar vs. XXX sway bar

Got mine sideways on a hairpin going a little hot around with the HC bar. Never once thought I could get a FWD to drift, or have to check my pants after doing it in a base. Haha.

I'm with Wangspeed, should be pretty tough to lose control of the rear. Quaife and XXX are needed to get the best out of this car, me and my bald contis kept up with a pack of WRXs in the rain last weekend with that combo (plus my YYZs of course)

I don't know what you guys are doing, but my car doesn't rotate quickly, or oversteer. It just does what it should now. I can lift mid turn, and the amount of oversteer that occurs is very small, IMO. Nowhere near what I would call fast.
Never had the rear step out in the rain or cold.

This...anything I have seen where this happens is because of 2 fast of inputs or over driving the car. I run a xxii bar but I upgraded from a hardcore bar. Car sees the track regularly. People want it because of the name it seems or because they are stuck in the fad of bigger is better.

i just ordered the Hardcore bar and expect it to be at the house tomorrow... If i need more i will get an XXX down the road but adding a 1.25" bar to the rear of a car is a HUGE change in my opinion... the most i've ever felt the car rotate was when i had NT05's up front and stock conti's out back and it would BARELY start to rotate when it had stock springs... on pedders it basically didnt rotate but was a bit faster... then i went to PS2's and it became stupid fast... now its on NT05's up front and PS2's out back and seems much more stable with a stiffer sidewall up front again.

i have the hardcore bar and its great but because I actually track my car i will probably eventually get the XXX bar
getting the yyz springs and front koni yellows saturday first and then still need to install my undercarrails too lol

so i installed my rear bar in the parkinglot AFTER the drivers meeting for the OutlawRun... 700 miles of mountain roads in 2 days... I took the car out for a 5 minute "lets see how stupid i can get without it coming around on me" session.... if the car comes around on you with a hardcore bar and pedders you are either doing something WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY stupid or had a honey badger judy kick the rear of your car... I'm going to upgrade to Koni Yellows in the rear to see how that does but I'll likely be going with a XXX bar soon.

I dont notice it as much on my KDW's (if any at all if tire pressures are set proper)
Throw my cooper all seasons on and push hard into a corner, and completely let off the gas... and then that changes things
overall very stable either way though

The only way i can get my car to rotate with YYZ and hardcore rear bar (I'm an LS) is lift off combined with left foot braking and even then it isn't much at all. When i was on pedders i spun once but that was because of a slight bump in the road combined with throttle lift (going 80 MPH on a 35 corner didnt help much), then all out panic braking (i wasnt focused on driving). That said I dont know how everyone says that the hardcore or XXX bars cause oversteer. Take some driving lessons on a track is the best recommendation i can give. A good instructor can feel the car and its limitations and instruct to those levels.
