rear axle
anybody know where i can get a really good deal on a rear axle for my 2 door ls? mines bent, also if i could get a ss i believe its called a stiff ride rear axle for cheap that would be great, and its an 07 cobalt too. if one could be found in either stiff or soft ride for 1000$ or less i would really appreciate to know. thanks.

There had to have been something else wrong with your car other than that. THe axle itself lists for about $920 and calls for 4 hours in labor to install it. That totals up to about $1400. What else did you break?
If you go to a dealer it will be about $920 without tax. I think he is talking about gmpartsdirect.com or something like that.

yeah i got the axle now for 1000 bucks, wastest some money but its ok, and i bent the axle when my tire blew out and i slid into a curb. i still need a new rim which the dealership told me would be 400$, i'll just buy some aftermarket rims for a couple hundred bucks more and get all four with tires. all i got on there now is stock rubber anyway.if anybody gots some good deals on aftermarket rims with tires hit me up.
