Arrow rear suspension sound (video inside)

So for the last couple of days i have been hearing some sound coming from the rear suspension. Mods are yyz v3, powell hardcore bar, and konis. What do you guys think it could be seems like its coming from the springs but its really hard to nail it down any ideas are greatly appreciated.

sorry for the video idk why it came out like that

My opinion... Something is fuckkked up lol.

Did you put the lower seat and upper one in there with the bump stop, when u did the springs?

Well i put back everything the way the oem ones had it. Im going to buy a stethoscope from autozone to see if i can get closer to whats making the sound, i just hope its not the torsion bar or something like that

Im actually going to re install my oem springs on the rear to see if its that. Hopefully its nothing major. While going high speeds its hard to notice but you can hear it every now and then. At low speeds i can for sure hear it better. Its not super loud inside the car but under the car as you can see its awhile different story

tighten up all the shock bolts? sounds like there's something slapping or getting caught on to the suspension. actually sounds kind of like cracked sheet metal flexing.

So i checked the sound again with my stethoscope that i recently got and its really hard to pin point the sound the whole torsion bar makes the sound lol.

When i checked the bushings tho i couldnt hear any clicking at all. I went ahead and checked my springs and the sound seems to be coming from them wonder why they would be clicking tho

You think so? I thought it would sound different for some reason lol.

Im thinking of installing the oem springs just to see if it is the springs making the sound, but either way im going to buy the sleeves from CED for the dead coils

its the coils hitting you can see and hear it in the video. Idk why but all of the yyz pics i have seen, no matter if the dead coils are on the bottom or top, the springs hit when parked. Mine dont do that. There is a good amount of gap in between them.

Once i hit a tiny crack in the road though you can hear them clank. Its deff your coils hitting though. The silencers will take care of that. Mine will be here tomorrow, ill let you know how i make out.

Your little rubber seats for the coil may be worn out. Mine use to make that sound with different springs on my old cobalt so just check those out. It's the top on, it's metal underneath the rubber and when it wears out it makes that noise.

So it seems like it is the coils smacking, put my oem springs for a day and i did everything that would make me heard the sound and nothing. Now the yyz springs are back in and i can def hear it again so ill be buying some coild wrap from CED to avoid the dead coils smacking each other
