any plans to produce things like this for the 2.2 4 lug setup ? theres a company working on a rear brake conversion and are using a 9.3" solid disks for the rear due to using a vented rear would cause it to be just slightly bigger then the front rotors..
if OTT put together a hardcore brake package for the 4 lugs using the astra brakes like you outlined it would open up the possibilities for vented rears that are 10.1 " sorry for the jacking .. i'm just curious

brakes dont reduce stopping distance, tires do

The TC set-up just need a lighter rotor, but I can see for non TC cars the OTTP is a good way to go as an upgrade. Combined with a good light wheel, the amount of unsprung shaved would be substantial over stock set-up.

only if your experiencing brake fade.
unless your on the autocross, you will not reduce brake distances at all with any brake upgrades when using the same tire.

if you want a better explanation, go read i think the 2nd page of mavens thread called "sneak peek: time attack brake" or w/e he called it.
