Shredded Two Brand New Tires From SwayBar Links
I am at wits end of what to do and what im doing wrong. I have been searching the forums for specific answers to my question, cant find anything on it.
I bought KSport Kontrol Pros all around for me 08 Cobalt Sport 2.4 LE5. Haven't even got to properly enjoy them, with the brand new tires as well...
Not even two days of having the new struts on, the Sway Bar link bracket that is on the KSports swung between my tire and the strut shredding it to rubber powder on my way to work... This was ~3 weeks ago. Got yet again, another new tire and just when i pull out from my drive way to get the new tire installed, yep, shredded the new one on the front passenger side..
To boil this all down to a clear distilled liquid...
The sway bar links have been my worst nightmare to say the very least.. I have lowered my vehicle from stock ride height. (I dont know how much, how can i measure how much ive lowered from stock ride height?)
What in the hell do i need to about the sway bar links? It is the actual stud from the link digging in to the sidewall, and the tire itself sits parallel to the swaybar link.
And to boot, while i had the sway bar links off until i could pick some up, the sway bar ripped my ABS speed sensor harness out of the computer.
Please, help

Did you by chance grab the wrong end links? Through OEM or Moog there are 2 lengths, and I believe LSJ and LNF use the shorter and base models and 2.4 use the longer. It's based on whether you're FE1/3/5 if i recall
