SSC and CM springs: the same thing?

Also, I know for a fact that SSC springs use dead coils in the rear, I used to have them. I used to have a pic of it but I can't seem to find it

SSC springs installed on an '09 SS coupe (note the dead coils).
Lowered: 1" drop all the way around with 3 days driving time about 200 miles.

rear spring upper cushion. This is part of the upper mount insulator as near as I can tell from the parts catalog. Recommend you have some 1/4" dense foam on hand when you replace your springs. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/memb...cushion-15295/

I'm guessing for this application (09 coupe) they're all gonna be the same. This is setting on the ground, maybe the others were still on jacks or the dead coils were installed to the bottom. The ride and handling are very good.

SSC springs
CM Springs
Whether or not the manufacturer of the spring is the same or not it sort of a moog point when there's a pretty clear difference in the actual spring design.
