stock struts with lowering spring vs coilovers

I have a 09 cobalt ss sedan. I was wondering if i should get the factory struts with lowering springs since i heard on the LNF's its one of the best factory suspension. Not sure what lowering springs i want. But i heard Koni Struts and other coil-overs are very efficient as well. What are the pros and cons of both of these set ups?

then stick with your stock struts and get some pedders, sportlines, h & r, or SSC lowering springs and call it a day.
