Suspension components!

Hello all, I'm sorry in advance for this post. I have a 07 cobalt ls and want to lower it slightly and get a better ride. Ride is more important than lowering. I was looking at eibach pro kit springs. What would be a good option for shocks? Also I know I need springs and shocks, what else is entailed to complete this mod? I've searched but am still confused, thanks in advance!

Define better ride. Better in corners of more like a pile of mush over bumps? I hear nothing but complaints on the ride quality and quality in general of Eibach parts. I have SS springs and FE5 struts/shocks and love them. Little lower and way better around corners.

Better corners, stock has a lot of roll, I've given a bit of thought to a setup like yours. Excuse my ignorance but are the FE5 struts/shocks stock on the SS?

Been on eibach sports for 6 years now and I still love em. Yes the ride is a little harsher but I'm not driving a caddy, I drive a built balt. Oh yeah got the SS struts and shocks.

SS struts/shocks seem to be a pretty popular choice. How expensive are they new? A ballpark at least would be good.

Cobalt FE5 Struts and Shock Pkg FE5-S

I bought mine here. There's a guy in El Paso selling Eibachs for $50 and I've been really tempted but afraid of the functionality.

I'm curious to see some pictures of an ls with SS springs and struts/shocks. Get them, $50 isn't terrible if you don't like them, also you could probably sell them easily if you didn't wanna keep them

How about pics of SS springs on a G5? Same thing basically. They aren't that low but I didn't buy them because they were. I bought them because FE1 is a failure around every corner. Now that I look at it I really want lower.

The lean in corners can be addressed by getting an SS/TC front roll bar and a rear bar from Powell, no more roll for sure.
