This hole mess could be cleared up right now if you would post PICS!!!
If it's just the rotor surface itself...it doesn't matter, cause they will all look the same after a while. If it's the HATS that are different, then you have one with (or maybe without?) a coating. THAT, shouldn't prevent you from driving it to the shop to work on it. While they're working on it..you can get a matched rotor (if required) from ZZP and work out a return with them..or do that at your leisure.

You're NOT handling this whole thing as you should...think about it.
