i think i just changed my mind on springs

and i dont think everybody is praising zzp for putting out these... i think people were skeptical bc of the price and lack of brand-name image, so with a company like zzp's backing and support, people put their trust in them for a product, and the product delivered like zzp promised.

just like in my case. i was set on sportlines, but with zzp backing these, and more and more people also backing them, and for a cheaper price, i changed my mind.

But what about the so called "POGO" effect. do you recieve that with these? With my Grand Prix it was terrible and i'm not sure i want to have such a rough ride like i did with it.

Springs

I just ordered the SSC springs from zzperformance. Currently I have the H&R springs on my SS/SC and living in NYC it rides way too hard. Hopefully these springs will not ride as harsh since they aren't as low as the H&R's. Buy the way when I get these springs I will be selling the H&R's, anyone interested? I am asking $150 ...

how is everyones shocks/struts holding up x amount of miles/months later after installing these? I just purchased an 07 and would love these, but 16,000 miles down the road dont want blown shocks/struts.

well i'm now up to 5800 miles and still good. That's even with a shop installing the one upside down, but that's now fixed.

I had eibach sportlines and Had to take them out cuz the ride was so jumpy and uncortoable. Now my car drives like a beamer with the stock springs.

1000 mile update. Everything works great. No pogo or bumpstop hit. This is a little off topic but what size tires is everyone running with theese springs. I am going to need new rubber soon and i want to know how wide everyone is going with theese springs. thank you.

awesome, can anyone get a size comparison of like their front sides or rear next to say a coke can or a general object? I think im going to build a suspension over the winter and then in spring put it on, and while the car is airborne clean out the struts and undercarriage of any salt/sand. But these springs deffinitly seem to be the first piece to the puzzle.

I see all the pics or the majority of the pics are of SS models. Is the drop relatively the same for the non ss models?

I dont carry a lot of passengers in the back. The few people I had, nobody has ever hit their heads on the roof!!lol...

On my old eclipse turbo with eibach sportlines they did.

i have a black 07 ss/sc and i bought the zzp ssc spring like 2 weeks ago and installed them the day after i got them... only took 2 days to get to my house.. ******* awesome! but i installed them myself and that was a breeze. and it was def worth it. from the center of the lip in the rear quaterpanel to the ground its a total of 16 inches. so basically with the rear tire on i can only get 2 fingers in-between the tire and the rear quaterpannel or fender. and in the front i cant get two figures in between the tire and the fender. I have never scraped bottomed out or anything. i did completely remove the bump stop in the back, and i've never herd any Tinks from the rear end.
