Got a question about the SSC springs. Why is the drop bigger in the front than in the rear?

quoted from ZZP site: "1.5" front / 1.3" rear drop for Cobalt"

thats just the stance they wanted to achieve, which i agree with and is the reason these are the only springs im willing to buy..they give the car a nice sporty rake. all the others make them sit level, if i wanted that i would have got a buick lesabre

thanks denny for the info but one thing i was wondering about was the bump stop issue did u totally remove the bumpstops in the front and/or rear or did u jus cut um them

 

You dont have to touch the bump stops.

 

oh cool then i dont any thing to worry about then..do the springs come with directions or do u have to know what ur doing pretty much?

 

do the SSC springs drop an ss less or more than sporlines? how about a 2.4 ss, is the drop gonna be different then a ss/sc?

 

less in the rear, but it's close. The front drop is identical I believe.

 

I'll have some pics up when it stops raining out. I installed them yesterday, and they look and ride great. The car settled after driving around a bit today, and I must say it looks perfect. Just enough drop to keep it looking clean, and enough spring rate to make her handle like a dream!
