I'm ordering my set today, i'll be sure to get some before and after pictures posted as soon as i'm finished.

how far out do they throw the front suspension? I'd really rather not have my wheels realigned just because i've never had a car come back from an alignment shop the same it went in, they have a way of always making things worse; at least as far as driving straight goes.

does anyone have any install tips?

If an alignment shop makes it worse, then the issue is the shop workers. I've known and been to reputable alignment shops and those are the ones that know what they are doing.

I have had the SSC springs on my car for a year now with no allignment issues. The day after I installed the springs I had an allignment done and everything was still in spec.

These have been put on my future mods list. I may scrape getting into my driveway, but my lip is already scratched to all hell from trying to master the entry into my driveway. Have one of the few driveways on base that doesn't have a smooth transiton from pavement to concrete.

hey you guys with lowering springs, do you bottom out at all? is it hard to get in and out of parking lots and stuff? I've had a car w/ a body kit that was lowered, and i will never do it again. My worry is that I want to be able to not bottom out on speed bumps and so on...

I've only sort of bottomed out once, its because i live down the street from a school and one of the little bastard kids took some rocks from my front yard (Big river rocks) and threw them in the driveway. I was backing out and didn't see it, i felt it though. thats the only problem i've had, and my school has some massive speed bumps, no problems there

As a cross reference here is a thread it a bunch of pictures with a tape measure that shows how high my car sits above the ground.

no problems at all with these springs didn't touch the bump stops and only scraped the exhuat once on a stupid parking lot drive way that went way up and then down on the other side.
