omg i want twincharge so bad
I was just wondering is your twincharge kit going to run the turbo thru the super to the engine or the super thru the turbo? because i had a thought as an uneducated consumer... if you run the super thru the turbo would it be possible to have a bleed line after the super before the turbo? sorta like the stock boost limit thing. Because if that was possible you could get a small pulley on the super so it boosts quickly but at 12 psi or whatever then the rest b4 the turbo is just bleed away and the trubo adds the other 8 psi
In my expert opinion, twincharging is a complete waste.
To Twincharge is simply for a instant boost buildup from the supercharger, and the turbo to take over after a certain point.
Granted you have to run a small turbo, or a large pulley on the s/c...simply because:
Your Supercharger pushes 15psi...
Your turbo kicks in and then pushes 8psi...
Your going to be pushing 23psi, and 2 different CFM's.
Is it the BEST thing to hit the streets? Nope.
Will it win a car show? hell yes....so will lambo doors.
Your best bet would be too either get a properly sized turbo....
or a better supercharger.
either way, these kits of ours will both be comparable in 1/4 times.
Simply because we dont want you the customer to love the whine of the supercharger....but feel like your not getting all that you could, if you went turbo.
Turbos vs Superchargers both do the same thing....they provide boost.
Turbos will ALWAYS be better than superchargers in the sense of high hp/top end speed due to theire efficiency.
However, superchargers will always provide instant boost, vs the lag of a turbocharger (regardless of how fast spool up is).
I personaly LOVE turbo lag...i like to gun it...then a second later, feel that turbo throw me into the back seat.

2.2 "huge flow" = crate engine depot's 2.2 XTC manifold. a 2.4 manifold (very large comparatively) adapted to the 2.2
turbo w/ tuning? how's that "r&d" coming.

I don't kno...I'm keeping my joy in check right now...Nice offerings for the 2.0, but I don't see how you can clim "a few months" delivery time when othershave been working on these adapations or way longer, and with no results. If you can pull it off, I'm all over it, but I'll believe it when I see it.
