Yes although technically slander is spoken, in print it is called libel.

Yes, take out the pitchforks and light the man on fire who actually has opinions about respect and common courtesy. I can't wait until you check my IP lol.

You're a super mod, so check my name, my email, and my IP, while you're at it check my registration IP and my posting IP's. Can't wait to see what you come up! But I will save you the 5 minute background check to tell you that I am me and there is nobody else registered under my IP or under my posting IPs.

I might be a nut swinger, but at least I'm swinging my nuts for something that has value, rather than for the sole purpose of bashing and being an ignorant *****.

I didn't even want to say anything in this thread.. But I can't stop myself from poking at people like you..

Metallic, with your experience of being a super moderator on the VB platform, you should know how easy it is, even with different IP services, that you can easily connect the dots.. You're just mad because you were wrong about your suspicion and don't want to publicly admit it, it's okay I will take apologizes VIA PM

"It doesn't matter if its good or bad"

Only it does when it comes to people's cars and their damn engines.

There has been proof that it was result of the tune! If you could take your own advice and READ you would see that no one has bashed James! In fact no one had anything but good things to say about the guy.

Pointing out was found in one of his tunes, and he is making sure people know what is 100% happening with their tune.

Just like ANY purchase on the forums, if you aren't happy you make a thread and let others know why. It's looking out for the rest of the community, not bashing anyone.

It's the the OTTP> Screw OTTP arguments, you will have happy, and unhappy, and I don't see OTTP walking around here talking trash about members.

The OP posted evidence of obvious faults in a LNF tune that were causing severe drivability issues that caused him (James's Customer) to look for help from another tuner. All he is doing is saying buyer beware. I have seen a bunch of James's tunes and most of them look like he just copied and pasted all of BYTs screenshots and GMtech's screen shots on the hp tuners forums.

Not sure how that is a broad statement.

You're a tuner! How would you like it if you tuned someone, then they sent your file to someone else without your knowledge to have it analyzed. Then if something was found to be "wrong", instead of it being brought up to you, it was instead "summarized" on a forum that you are active on. But wait, when you check the thread for evidence, instead of a comparison log or some type of physical evidence, there is just a picture and some words being thrown around to make it sound like something is wrong.

It doesn't matter if something is actually wrong or not, that's not the point I am making obviously, the point that I am making, which the nut swingers won't see and the unbiased shall see, is that there should be a fine line between competitive tuning practices and bashing.

This thread hasn't shed any light on the actual tune, nor has anything really been shown to "prove" that this tune is bad. Forget the past, this case is the present issue.

As of right now, Imphat is officially and publicly calling out James, a user that CAN NOT post his defense on here. Not only that, but he hasn't provided any evidence besides a picture and his experience (which mind you isn't backed up). Therefore, in legal terms, and in a court of civil dispute law, this is considered Slander and could be taken to court. Now would it hold? Depends on the lawyer and his skill, but it's still Slander nonetheless and it looks bad for Phat and this website. James is just sitting around enjoying the peace and quiet while the bashers bash someone who isn't even here.. It's like getting off to an imaginary photo of your favorite **** star. I don't get why they do it!
Funny,

You guys (James ball huggers) did this exact same thing to Nick which drove him away from dealing with people on the forums. In fact dont blame 'his problem' because Im pretty sure he had already left the forums and was "defamed" for his 'problem' being the reason he was leaving certain members high and dry on their partial tunes.

Cliffnotes:

OP provided facts based on his observations, and posted them. Members beware.
The townsfolk came out, and the good ol boys started name calling and threatening of sueing. I think my lawyer is the best one though. Want to know who it is?

Well usually this isnt done, but the person who's car this happened to would like to speak about his personal experience, and asked that I reopen the thread. So open it is. The first start of a bitch fest will get you either a warning or start out with a dayban based on your history or the severety of the post. Play nice this is your only warning.

I actually kind of miss these threads kind of entertaining to watch these guys get so worked up you can almost hear the veins popping out of their head mods you should let James come back for the 83rd time so he can tell us all we're not reading those logs properly and we should learn something about tuning a car

Because of all the James arguement threads and James nutswingers, he basically said **** it and dissappeared off the site. Low and behold James' tunes were not all there cracked up to be.... Karma's a bitch.
My tune cracked up pretty good. 26 Psi for 50k+ miles. 0 issues. Hard driving too

All the people I know including myself have great tunes from James. My car blew up from not a shitty tune but too much power!

James may not be able to post on here but unlike BYT he still tunes great cars.

You also say all the nutswingers come in here but in reality there's a lot of haters.

Thanks for reopening this for me. Mainly what I want to get across to everyone is this. James could be a master tuner or a complete hack, I am not a tuner so I don't know. Probably most of you with tuned cars don't know if your tune is good or not. My car felt fast, pulled hard, didn't throw any codes in the more than a year that I ran James's tune. I was happy with my tune like most of you are happy with your tune. I had some surging at cruising speeds, felt like a misfire to me but when I called James last year and told him, he said it was the difference in ambient temps from when we tuned the car. Told me it was safe to drive, so I did drive it. Now I saw with my own eyes that misfire codes were disabled, among others including changing map sensor parameters. If my car was misfiring no code would pop. How do you guys know if you don't have some of these same issues? I hope you don't. Point is he should have told me he was disabling the codes, if not when he did it, at least when I called him about drivability issues.
Now I want to stress that I like James, I'm not bashing him. He put my downpipe and interceptors on for me, made me pay what I thought was fair, wouldn't even name a price. I spent a couple hours logging with him in the car and got to know him and enjoyed the time.
As for people blindly defending him, think about it. You said looked like a base file that I never got dialed in, that's not the case. After Ryan said the codes were disabled you said you know for a fact that James would never do that, I would have thought the same thing until last night when I saw it with my own eyes. And nobody had hooked anything up to my car until last night, so can't blame someone else messing with it.
Anyway, thanks mods for letting me post this. You can lock this again if you wish, I don't want this to be a witch hunt or a bitch fest.
Just remember, because your car pulls hard, and is fast, doesn't mean your tune is safe.

Omiotek... had it retuned dave does amazing work over there and if you havent had the pleasure of doing buisness with them. you should they stand behind all there work. amazing not to mention b4 with James tune my whole back bumper would turn black after 15min of driving And the gas mileage was horrible

Yeah but correct me if I'm wrong but if you are using HP tuners you can see all kinds of stuff. Like if there are codes being purposely turned off.
