Im stuck in Bakersfield California. Im from Canada and just finished my supercharger install but can't go anywhere until I get my tune. The cable has apparently been lost in translation and nobody seems to know where it is. I have a now supercharged 2.2 and need it TUNED however if anyone within 5 hours could get to bakersfield you can basically name your OWNN PRICE. I need to be back to work tomorrow afternoon or I will be fired from work and I make $50,000 a year so its more than worth it. Let me know please people.

 

Trifecta or HPT?

I have an HPT cable in my car I believe. Who was supposed to tune you in the first place? What exactly do you need?

 

im guessing trifecta since it is a 2.2

 

Fonzi1289 was supposed to do the tune after we did the install. But his friend had his tuning cable and now his friend is being shady and we have no idea where the F the cable is exactly.

 

Well you probably need the trifecta cable if your a 2.2. I live in colorado. For a round trip ticket + food + hotel I can bring one in person.

 

he need trifecta, hptuners no go on a 2.2 depending on year i think

 

He has an L61 so he'll need a Trifecta or LS2Edit tuner.

please guys whatever needs to be done. I need to leave within about 5 hours or I lose my very comfy job and probably get kicked out of the house so anything if you know anyone or anything

dude, this sucks!

if worst comes to worst, why not find a local shop that will allow you to park the car in a gated yard;
fly home;
work for the week;
arrange for a cable;
flyback;
get tuned;
bomb back to Abbotsford.

If you buy round trip tickets starting & ending in the USA; you will pay less than if you started & ended in Canada ~ or at least that has been my experience.

Bakersfield is a nice area - I have some extended family in and around there;
but no one that could help with either tuning or parking...

 

I can't go home without my car. I would be kicked out of my house in an instant im only 19. one way or another i have to get home with myself and my car

Call vince at trifecta and see if he knows any trif tuners in that area
