I will be ordering one of these for sure, let us know when they're available for a group buy. That mirror finish knob looks sexy.

Hi guys,
The M1 Abrams RL will fit on a reverse lockout mechanism that is under 0.95" in diameter. If the outside diameter of the mechanism is larger than that, the reverse lock won't slide inside the shift knob.
The restriction from the reverse lockout mechanism and the bottom of the shift assembly makes it impossible to have a shortened throw as agressive as a 40% reduction, but the TWM short shifter will still be the most agressive on the market.
Our machine shop is working on the last details and modifications we made on the short shifter, we will have the complete specs soon!

short shifters made for the same car pretty much all look the same. b&m and hurst look the same if u paint them the same and put the same knob on there but theres a supposed 10% shorter shift between the 2. if TWM's shifter is in the 40's range it will be the shortest available. hopefully shaft length is shorter then both too. i think my b&m isnt short enough in length. could be an inch shorter.

Hi everyone,
We have read the feedback about the downsides of the short shifters currently on the market for the Cobalt SS/SC and the TWM short shifter’s unique design has a solution for the issues reported.
Our short shifter resolves the following issues with the current shifters on the market:
-Some have reported they would like a greater height reduction, the TWM short shifter sits lower than others currently available.
-The main pivot ball on other short shifters has been reported to come loose since it is held with set screws. The TWM main pivot ball can not come loose.
-A “clicking” noise and rough movement of the reverse lock mechanism from loose tolerances and aluminum sliding on steel. Our reverse lock mechanism is machined with very tight tolerances and is completely isolated from the shaft for very smooth movement.
-The vague 5th gear some have reported is not an issue with the TWM short shifter.
-A slight ticking noise from the small aluminium pivot ball making direct contact with the L shaped side arm. The TWM has no such aluminum on steel contact.
-Sharp edges on the reverse lock, ours are machined and de-burred very well to avoid premature wear of the shift assembly and for a cleaner more finished look.
We do not want to ballpark any price right now, we still have to check all the final settings required on the CNC to come up with the final retail price. We will also have a special pre-order price when the shifters are ready!
Thanks,
Frank
