Yea, sorry bout the pics, been in Jamaica the past week!!.
HB SSTC brought up a good point, could you guys maybe make a small black or silver or even aluminum piece to fit between the Extender and the RL to cover the Cclip and make it look clean?

We should have an SS/TC coming at the shop soon, I'll check what can be done to fit between the RL mechanism and the shifter extender.
Thanks for the picture!

This is on the list, funny cuz I was jus mentioning how nice it would be to have an extended shaft on the hurst short throw... Since it angles back a lil , with this extension, it would be precision ultimate...

There is no extra force applied on the bottom part of the shifter with the extender installed. Less force is required to move the shifter, but there is no extra force transmitted in the bottom part of the shifter.
End of the month is coming! Be sure to get your orders in!

Hi msfitoy,
We've been asked this question a number of times on a few other forums, and it's a very valid one. Basically it comes down to this. The largest part of the reduction in a short shifter comes from the changed point of attachment of the shifter cables BELOW the pivot point. That being said, extending the shifter shaft will increase the shifter throw slightly, however, any increase will easily be offset by a short shifter.
This is why we HIGHLY recommend that this modification be used in conjunction with a TWM Performance short shifter. The result of the two combined is truly awesome both in feel and in functionality. I also find that it looks great (but that's a personal opinion )

We currently have the extenders available in the most common metric sizes (M10x1.5, M10x1.25 and M12x1.25). Since we do not have any short shifters threaded 3/8-24, we never released this size of extension.
Time to upgrade to a TWM short shifter!
Thanks,
Frank
