They will not fit because the reverse lockout lever that has to be pulled inside the shift knob is way larger than anything else on the market on these shifters.

We have had (quite a lot of) customers upgrading from another manufacturer short shifter to ours in order to benefit from our weighted shift knobs and the overall better quality and more agressive specs of our short shifter.

Cool I got ya. So basically your shift knobs dont allow a piece to slide up into it like the other shift knobs that support reverse lockout. I wish I had gone with your shifter, and i always said I would because i believe yours is the best on the market, but someone bought me my shifter for working on their car for them lol. Free is always good

Thanks for your order, it's shipping out later this afternoon!

Our reverse lockout compatible shift knobs (M1 Abrams RL, Big Type R RL and Piston RL) fits most cars equipped with a RL mechanism (STi, Evo MR, SpecV...) but they will not fit excessively large RL levers like the other short shifters for the Cobalt SS.

We've designed them to fit as much cars as possible without altering the overall look of the shift knobs.

Thanks,

Frank

installed mine and gotta say, it's amazing. HUGE improvement over the wood knob I had on before. Really smoothed out the notchiness. The different inserts to change the height is a great idea, I tried 3 settings before I found the one I liked. I thought the shortest would be the best but it was actually too short.
