TWM please fix our shift linkages!

I have been having an issue with my linkage popping out under the shifter with the ball-socket connection, and I know other have been having the same issue and I figured you guys might be able to help us out.

I had the same issue in my 2007 LS I ended up replacing that ball socket connector because it wasnt as resilliant and it should be. It's not TWM's Fault that little plastic socket just sucks is all.

Hey guys,

It's a project we're working on. Basically replacing the stock plastic part with an aluminum part and a much more solid attachment point. No ETA at the moment, but keep an eye on our section for any further details!

Thanks,

Frank

take shifter out, remove ball with vice grip, the threads are something like M6-1.25 pitch or something small, you will need two fender washers, a 1.25 inch long bolt, RED loctite, a drill, your original plastic socket end to the shifter, about thirty minutes of your time and the slightest tweak to get it to feel right.
