Front chevy cobalt Bowtie..

I'm looking to see if any one is trying to sell their front bowtie for like 10$ or less. Trying to not have to buy it from eBay for brand new price of 20 or more $. It doesn't have to be carbon fiber or what ever, I broke mine trying to paint it and looking for some to sell their's

I only have one but on the same subject, how do those things mount to the cross bar? Mine is currently taped on because thats how i bought it. But looks like it should be bolted on.

Mine was glued. Some put globs of what looked like epoxy on the plastic "stems"

I think the stems are supposed to have those thin metal washer clips that latch on to the plastic. No idea what they are called.

Definitely shouldn't be glued. They are thin nuts that grab into the plastic. Easy to lose when taking off and harder to find if you are on gravel at the time.

OP - have you looked around any local junk yards or Pick n Pull's?

Yeah my car was a rebuild status so they cut a few corners for sure. So ....Definitely

Haven't looked at any yards yet was trying to see if any one was selling one or not before I got to that stage

Mine was bolted on
