Does anybody have a junk turbo or even just a turbine blade/shaft assembly that isnt fucked up? Not looking to pay a ton. Located in Grand Rapids, MI.

Yeah. It still boosts and doesnt make noise that i could tell. Just seeing if i can fix it cheap.

 

Was it like that when you installed it ? And dose the shaft the turbine is on move up and down side to side?

 

No there is no shaft play, like i said the turbo is fine. And it wasnt like that when i installed it.

 

I only ask because I am a desiel mechanic and I have had my share of turbo problems. And you my friend have sucked something into your turbo or the fins have made contact with the outer intake on the turbo meaning shaft play.

I bought a low mileage one from Ebay for 140 bucks. 40k miles, no shaft play and looked mint

 

I wanna pay less

Maybe i should talk to turbo bay or someone that would have cores for the turbine shaft
