How soon you need it?

 

Just started grinding into second gear today, probably not for a few weeks since I can just start in 2nd or skip it all together. How many miles, where are you at and how much you looking to get for it? Also what is your timeline?

Get an lsj g85 .. 4.05 gears are better

 

I'm aware that they are stronger, but I don't know how I would like turning that many rpms on the highway. I'll take whatever I can get a decent deal on though.

 

I'm headed up to zzp august 6th to get an f40 installed. So after then, I'm NE Ohio. G85 car/trans has 18k on it, LNF of course. Make an offer

 

Seriously? Its barely noticeable. Even with me running the 4.45s I was still turning mid 30s mpg on the highway and dailying it averaging 26.

 

I haven't done the math, I'll take either trans - I have no plan to tune the car and I also have to keep the same final drive ratio in the class I autocross in (street touring). Beggers can't be choosers, and I might be the only person who wants one - but im trying for an lnf trans. 3k at 80mph is already a lot with the 3.82, and I typically average 36-38 on the highway now.
