Short and sweet.

Ok last night when I was crusing around and an older guy in a Volvo pulled up beside me at the light.

We both took off normal but I figured wth so I hit it and as soon as I did so did he.

I didn't exactly pull hard on him or anything but by the time we shut down he was at my rear 1/4 pannel. I think he was pissed because he didn't look at me the whole way we were beside each other again.


BTW it was a S40 or something(2003+), it was dark so I didn't get a good look but it was something 40.

S40? Good kill, they aren't slouches, especially the T5 AWD. However from a roll his AWD wouldn't have helped much anyway.

I got beat by a volvo once, a late 80's 940 station wagon....but then again it also had 320 whp, so I wasn't too upset.

yea watch out for the sleeper volvo, my buddy has a stock lookin 2001 S40 with a tuned up turbo that whoops the crap out of me from a dig. He knows not to race me from a roll tho
