Right on point here. What makes those '03-04 Cobra's so nasty is they respond very well mods. Just intake/exhaust is a 20-30 rwhp gain. I know alot of Cobra's with 400+rwhp with just those two mods.

there are some making near that completely stock. With a pulley, tune, and exhaust 450whp isn't tough.

That's why I put the + after 400. I also know a few Cobra's that have dynoed as low as 360-365 rwhp. Most of them average from 360-380 rwhp with some being higher and some lower.

12.62 @ 111 showroom stock.
12.6@113 bonestock, 2.01 60'
added 2.76 pulley, JLT cai, upr O/R Xpipe, and tuning via James at RWTD and ran 11.6@122.

i dont see what's so hard to beleive about it. some of them are putting down HIGH 300's completely stock in a ~3600 lb car...i bet all the nay-sayers would agree that an ls2 goat is a high 12 second car, but for some reason dont beleive a lighter car with a solid 40+whp more is faster

Yea why don't you get on SVTPerformance, Im sure the guys there would love to prove you wrong. Mustang guy or not the 03-04 Cobra is a hell of a car, ask any car guy. Whats wrong did you get beat a few to many times by one?
Here are just a few I pulled up.
My frined also ran 12.5@112 in his bone stock 04 Competition Orange Cobra.

I cannot belive no one tried the whole I seen a 2004 Cobra run 12.2 bone stock, I do love those stories though. Yes I will say they are nice for a Mustang but I would rather have a LSX any day of the week.
I can see you are a Ford diehard so I won't sit and waste posts arguing.
I will however say that 99% of Mustang folks severly overarate the 03-04 Cobra in stock form.

Different strokes for different folks I always say.Don't get me wrong I like Chevys, I almost bought a C6 a while back but things fell through and the fact I was going to lose my ass on my GT. Im wating for the new Camaro, if it ever comes out, and it may very well be my next car. This all depends on weight and performance options.
IMO if you want a kick ass NA car go Chevy if you want a kick ass blower car go Ford.
Also for the the 99% who over rate the Cobra, 99% of them are Cobra owners. LOL I've honestly never met one that has not thought he was above a Mustang. Even my frineds who own/owned them, and alot of them did, all thought they were above my little GT. Most don't talk **** any more.

i'd like to hear your position on what ls2 goats and ls1 f-bodies are though. If a termi is a high 12 sec car period, neither of those are 12 sec cars at all. It is FAR more common for an 03-04 cobra to run 12's than it is for either of those, and i'd say there are as many 12.6-12.7 cobras as there are 12.9 gto's stock for stock. that's why people call them mid-high 12 sec cars because the average decent-good driver will run high 12's and many will go a bit quicker.
Well I am sorry that you think the way you do, which is to be expected of a Mustang fan.
The numbers for the 03-04 Cobra are the biggest hype fest ever. The average times are not mid to high 12's more like very low 13's. You cannot make an average figure using numbers only from a Mustang forum in which people beat there cars to achieve.
As for LS1 F-Bodies and GTO's they are mid to high 13 second cars on average accross the board. When figuring only perfect runs I would call them low 13 second cars.
All in all I know from first hand experience what all these cars can do.
If the Cobras were that fast C6 Vettes wouldn't walk them like a puppy.
