05 SS/SC vs 94 Mustang GT
So who would win this race from a dig to about 110 and a 40 roll?
Mustang GT Mods: CAI, Exhaust, TB, Cams.
SS/SC: CAI, TTR upper engine mount.

Im guessing that with those mods, from a dig you will lose by half a car length but slowly reeling him in. All factors depending on how good of a launch you get.
From a 40mph roll you should win by around a car length.

You might be suprised, CAI and exhaust really dont do much on Mustangs unless its full exhaust (Catback, Midpipe, Headers). The 94-95 Mustangs have the 5.0 in them and are DOGS to say the least. Those cars stock are 15 second cars and even with those mods I still dont see it pulling any better than mid-high 14s in the 1/4.
I say from a roll you win and from a dig it will be close still giving you the win.

Same thing I was going to say.
Like I said in the other thread regarding 5.0's, it's tough to say.
The three biggest variables here are:
1. Drivers, as always
2. Manual or Auto: assuming he doesn't have a shift kit and a stall, the manuals are much faster
3. What are his ACTUAL mods. If he just exactly what's listed, it's probably a off-the-shelf Ford cam and it's probably a mid-14-second car. On the other hand, if he actually has heads to go with that cam (singular) and some gears in the rear, who knows... it could be deep into the 13's.
Again... who knows?
