05' Stage 2 SS/SC vs. 07' Mustang GT
The other day I was driving home with my buddy when I noticed a really modded out looking mustang riding my tail. I was driving through the city, and it was only one lane for quite a while so I went ahead and drove under the speed limit quite a bit to get the flames burning a bit lol... Anyway, I decided to get onto the interstate to finally make it interesting. As I did I continued along the entire on-ramp driving normally as the stang stomped the pedal and flew past. It was a Red 2007 Mustang GT with a black hood (looked like about a 6" reverse cowl scoop hood), and black accented graphics all along the side doors. Actually looked quite nice (show quality for sure). Anyway, I decided to speed up and follow closely behind for miles as we swerved traffic and diesels the entire way. After what seemed like probably 10 minutes of fooling around waiting for open road, we got next to each other doing somewhere between 70-80mph... I looked over at him and it was about a 30yr old dude with a goatee and piercings and his g/f in the passenger seat. He kept looking back over to me and taunting like laughing and putting his hand over his mouth sarcastically as if to say "Oh yeah, I really feel threatened..." I then extended my hand forward implying for him to give it a shot. He wasted no time and put it to the floor and his exhaust started screaming as he began to wizz by me. My friend looked at me as I was starting to downshift and he was like "Alright...... Burn 'Em!!!". I threw it into 3rd gear and ran through the rest pulling on him the entire time after I began accelerating. I ended up burning the **** out of them while finally passing it doing about 155 near a diesel! That was quite a rush. Afterwards, I backed off and he caught up and we matched speeds once again. His girlfriend was pointing at him laughing her ass off! At the same time me and him both looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders at the exact same moment. It was priceless. I then went home and cleaned the horse sh*t off of my car's boot! lmao!!!! HAHA. Best race in my cobalt so far by a longshot!

yeah man, I dont have much done to it. You can check out my cardomain if u want its in my sig but yea I was doing like 154 or 155 I wasnt trying to stare at the speedometer tho haha. It was really cool. Fastest ive been in it. I was almost completely out of gear tho so I wanna say thats about where I would top out. If not just after! Still impressive for me and what I want ya know?!

Damn, well that's badass. I'm actually really happy to hear this story seeing that you only have GM Stage 2, a GMPD catback, and a CAI. I'm doing a bunch more and the Mustang drivers around here are really cocky, so I can't wait until spring to bitch slap all the non-supercharged GTs haha.
