good kill, I'm planning on a similar setup you have too so this gives me even more reason to go with a 2.8 and 60#s, did you buy a stage kit or just shop around individually?

did you see a difference going from a canned tune to a dyno tune?

the difference is huge the power delivery is just so much smoother and all the way through the RPM. I would suggest anyone to go get it done not olny that you get more power

Nice race. I love how he says "your 5th gear is redicilous compared to his"...and im guessing you didnt even leave 3rd, or maybe just touched 4th Those Sti's have such short gearing, their 4th is at 7k rpms at 96mph

I've heard Fred is a good tuner but he doesn't like to push cars past their limits cause his rep. can be shattered

If you want to go for numbers I'm sure he would but I'm willing to bet you would be signing a paper saying he's not responsible

From what i could see/hear you barely pulled a fender if that which he got back before you backed off which is why the comment came in your 5th is so much better (for STI) cause the vid was taken from the STI. Nice runs but def not a kill, Do it from a dig! Oh and your description is off. your past a stage 2 balt....

Yeah what I meant was that it sounds like the passenger in the Sti assumed the balt was in 5th gear as well

he is just covering his ass. same thing any sane person would do. why would you want to push the car past its limits, that usually means breaking something.

I wasn't trying to bash him but simply saying that he wouldn't push the customers car pass the limits like some people want

So he's a good/smart guy for that, some tuners just don't care.
