Sorry read the first 5 pages then all the bickering made my eyes start to bleed so I skipped to page 15 seen your dyno and your comparison numbers between the two cars then on to page 16.
So to sum it up for me a higher hp lower tq beat a lower hp higher tq car by a fender while sitting in the powerband? Sorry just want to get it clear I was alittle confused because of all the tq wins races from the lsj guys talk I saw vs the hp wins races talk.

The Redline has (mods that count):
1: injectors
2: pulley
3: intake
4: header
5: downpipe
6: tune
Should we count the catback since its a stock ss tc one?
LNF has:
1: intake filter
2: Catback
3: tune
(also remember in the tune you up the boost with the TC, while using a pulley on the LSJ...so if you want you can count that as 4)
The people who are stuck on the LNF vs. LSJ topic are the ones who do nothing for this platform. The ones who accept both of them and work with each other are the ones that help push it further

I don't know if people realize this, but the ion with the header/dp still doesn't get as big a gain as the LNF with just a catback. Turbo cars see much larger gains from exhaust mods than supercharged cars.
The injectors is more of a support mod, gotta have fuel to make extra power. They don't provide any additional power though.
As mentioned, the pulley upgrade is equivalent to turning the boost up in the tune of the LNF.
People need to stop trying to rip all the credit away from the LSJ. The fact is, Powerband won this race.

What does that have to do with anything? I prefer my cobalt over any ford or dodge. It's all in preference. The fact that it's a cobalt or an ion has nothing to do with anything.

In the end though, I just beat a cobalt in a cobalt.... its hardly satisfying.
Anyways, having the fastest cobalt in the world is just like being the smartest retard in special ed class.

I've had a sc and a tc. Yeah,I like my s20g swapped lnf. My lsj was built, m62 2.6 ,60s and 22degrees of timing. And.my.sc would.keep up till about 3500-3800 rpm (boost full) lol. . At kentucky speedway id rather have. Thr sc for my instant power, only thing my tc is good for is breaking ****... lol out of the ime I've owned the.tc.(4 monthz or so) id prob driven it 30 days. But I say a built harrop 1320 lsj with e85 will keep up or kick my ass.I'm gonna dyno my.car soon and I'm pushing 26lbs. Don't say ure.gona **** ure ringlands I'm built now.so don't worry. I'm more worried.about my tranny lol. My car has.misfire.issues.and.I'm trying to solve them then ill dyno.

Clutch, tune was ****. Wastegate, boost leaks, but most of all was the tune I tuned it 100% and.had it at 26lbs. And I blew two cutches. So I replaced the.clutch the first time then bye bye tranny. Replaced clutch again with clutchmasters. Six puck and blew that clutch up. So I replaced it with a six puck ky clutch and all is good. Ever since I had the car its had surginf, misfires, and a stumble. Its hard to,figure out wut it is sometimes becuz sometimes t won't do it. I log it, and it shows nothing. Just misfire and kr. So I'm assuming injector its always is #3. I changes coils over and stated so injectoe it is I'm assuming.. compression is all good.

What it has to do with is, everyone is all like "LSJ's are better than LNF's" "Powerband is everything" blah blah blah. You all are driving cobalts & ions (And I am too) neither is better than the other. I have raced E85 Supercharged cobalts, I don't plaster my wins all over CSS.net. I can easily pull up the you tube video's of what a properly tuned LNF does to them. (I also have a powerband.) You guys should check out what the E85 LNF's can do.

See what I did there? Quit slamming on cobalts. I think mine is much nicer than other cars out there. In fact, I chose mine over a RSX-S, Civic SI, WRX, MS3, and SRT-4. I like the fact it has steering-wheel mounted controls, leather seats, sun roof, sub in the trunk, and is a great looking car.
