I know I helped a local tune 80s and E85 on a 2.8 pulley and made 289whp! I WAS LIKE WTF????

So we are putting a man pulley on it now....

CMiller thats on slicks... put some street tires on and go back and see what you run!

I ran a 12.90 at 120 you think you are faster than me!

HP doesn't mean ****... cmiller you have a fast track car... but on the street an LSJ would destroy you. Sorry.

You guys have obviously never driven an LSJ car... I owned one I know the power difference.

MY LNF is no contest though....
how can you say hp doesn't mean ****. It is everything. Tourqe only makes for a fun car down low but after the intial hit wears off the car doesn't go anywhere. My 3076 lnf full bolt on car would have absoluetly destroyed my 2.5, ported blower, meth, full bolt 06 ss any day of the week. Hell my 09 ss even beat my z06 in a 40-120 roll and that was before the meth and on only 24 psi.

Here we go we should have a forum LSJ vs LNF and see who can make the best car.
ill give ya short and narrow bro

It has happend do a search I believe it was on this forum that I seen it. The problem with most people not breaking into 12s is they suck at driving, How many sc owners really know how to drive? few and far in between. Also alot of sc guys havnt made it to the track. I havnt gone since I got my tvs installed.

Last year I made 285/265 on a 2.7" without even trying.

This year I am trying with a 2.6". I might make it to the dyno this friday.

Now a tvs car is different. I still havent seen it, but it only makes sense to spend 4000.00 and be able to pull a 12.5 or trap in the mid 120's or so

Horsepower takes over at 5200 anyways, who needs all the torque that high?

I went to the first m62 powered dyno with a graph and mine on the dyno throwdown. My car has alot better hp curve then those cars There power continues to climb steady and then peaks out at about 6500 and starts to drop. My car holds 300 hp from between 4000-4500 to 6500 rpms with a 6700 rpm redline. Now weres the power under the curve I always here about. And I did stock sc to stock tc. we can do the same thing with the hightest tvs powered car and the highest hp lnf and its the same thing.

sustained power over a time period. flat power will win over peak every time.

then again, i don't drag race my car every week.
