youll take him i think. i raced one in my SS/SC 4 times in a row from a stop and from rolls. i **** you not, i beat him by about 15 cars everytime! and i had a passenger and he didnt. my money is definitely on the 2.4 SS

It all really depends on what kind of exhaust he has ie. Cat Back, Turbo Back etc etc. How many if any cats were removed with the exhaust system. How restrictive the stock system was.
On Subaru's a turbo-back exhaust can yield anywhere from 25 to 70 horsepower at the WHEELS depending on EM and make/model. I dont know mazda's and what kind of gains but if he has a 70 horsepower gain at the wheels you wont stand a chance even with an intake.

By Removing the Cats, a Stock MSP will start to spool a full 400 RPM Sooner and reach Max Boost before 2700 RPM all the way to 6500 RPM with a slight fall off after 6200..

SO ******* PISSED OFF! I DROVE MY ASS ALL THE WAY OUT THERE AND HE WOULDNT RACE ME! god damnit... he said that he cant believe that i think my cobalt could keep up with his protege and that he has "dusted" plenty of them... so i called him out and told him that he must be scared and he still wouldnt race me... bastard... no idea how pissed off i am

Yeah he just knows that he is a lier and doesnt want to put his foot in his mouth. I bet hes "dusted" some 2.2s and says they were 2.4s.

not completely stock anymore, but o well.. he isnt driving down here for a while he says.. which pisses me off so when he comes back down i'll have my CAI and possibly different exhaust

You should be able to take him regardless.
200 WHP max on stock internals unless he is willing to risk a motor..
