I had just finished washing my car and was going to stick it in the garage when i told myself "I'll take a couple of laps around town then put her away".I make one lap around town when i see some bright hids coming up from behind me,it kept following me through all the streets i was taking,so i finally get out on the main street going through town and he pulls up next to me,it ends up being my cousin.So we go crusing through town for awhile when i tell him lets go make a couple of runs,so he agrees. We head out to the back roads and we line them up.WE ran two times,the first one was from a 40 roll,i honked 3 times and we were off and by 100 i had about 6-7 cars on him.The second race was from a dig but i'll be the first to say i suck at launching my car"i've only raced about 4 times with the balt,haven't had that much practice",anyway we line them up he honks three times and we're off,first gear and halfway through second nothing but wheel spin,he has about a car and a half on me but as soon as second catches i start reeling him in,shift into 3rd and i suck him in,hit 4th and its over.We call each other on our cell phones and say good runs and head home.I know it's nothing to brag about but i thought i would give you all something to read,later.

Nice dude. I have wondered about the TL, its a nice looking car. Know the power/weight of the TL?

i raced a TL in my G5 got me by i think 2 or so car lengths. i was with him the whole time he never lost me so the ss sc would kill one i think

The TL non type s has 225hp and weighs 3500lbs.

^^coulda sworn it was 270....but around 225whp.

The TL Type S has 270hp but the non type s has 225hp,there both 3.2l motors and remember it's an 03 we are talking about.
