sorry to see that S2000 wrecked like that. hope they're all ok.
as for the dig thing... he could have taken you from a dig a few times, but S2000s have weak differentials. My buddy has a 2004 S2000 and refuses to race it at a track (because you have to go from a dig) because supposedly there is talk on the S2K forums about a lot of people breaking the crap out of there diffs by launching hard. So i would have given it a try (had he not wrecked it first) because there might have been a chance he wouldnt have made it more than 15 feet anyways.
