Fuddle is pretty well known on the Chevy side of things...not really heard of too many of the Ford guys going with fuddle converters.

auto with a good tune (shift points and firmness changed) + a higher stall = manual rapage. I hate autos personally, but there is no denying with a few bucks they can be faster than manuals.

well i dont want to start a thread to post this but i just got home from racing a mach 1 with basani cat back exhaust first race he put probably like 3 cars on me after about 120 second race he got maybe a full car up to about 125 i had to switch lanes in the 2nd race so it might have been dead even he said the best hes run was a 13.5 thats the second mach 1 ive lossed too i need this damn turbo or blower swap , mods are stage 2 airbox mod zzp header and 3 in dp w hi flow cat

ok first thing... mach 1's are mid 13 second stangs... ive got a video of an automatic runnin i believe its 13.6. 03-04 cobras on the other hand is a 12 second stang.. no way even a stage 2 balt is gonna stay with 1.. if uve ever drove 1 then u will know.. i test drove 1 was fixin to trade my balt for it but decided i liked the better gas mileage better. But no i would have to say it was probably 1 of the infamous 99-04 gt mustangs with the cobra pieces on it... best way to tell if they are stopped is to look at the brake calipers, cobras say cobra on them.. coming from an ex mustang man like myself.. 03 cobras 390hp so no way ur touchin those..

Neither will be "destroyed" by an SS/SC w/ just Stage 2 unless the Mustang driver has no clue what's going on.

i raced a mach 1 w/ a manule from a 40 roll and i think he started in the wrong gear or was just giveing me a head start bc i pulled a car on him and held it for a few seconds then he just blew past me like i had hit the brakes i lost count after he had like 6 cars on me. those things are crazy fast but i think i could have kept it close w/ stg2 and exhaust

Where did you get this info from? Maybe the Mach 1s I beat were just fake ones like alot of Ford guys like to do. Be fake.

Also, I don't doubt that you have beaten Mach's and N/A Cobras and such, my point was just that an SS/SC w/ just S2 shouldn't be "destroying" them. Then there's the possibility of Auto Mach 1's, which would be a few tenths slower, and also the possibility of fakes. It would take a LOT of work to make a GT look convincing as a Mach 1 if you know what to look for, but if you don't they look fairly similar.
Also, this is comparing 1/4-mile times... from a roll would probably help the SS/SC out some.
Finally, yeah, the Typhoon's and Syclone's were pretty sweet. Sleepers for sure. There are quite a few stock Mustangs that are faster now, but those GM turbo cars, trucks, and SUV's were really quick for their time.
