07' 2.2 ls vs 94' stang gt convertable
So i'm heading home from work for lunch when this 94 stang gt pulls out besides me, he looks over and guns it, so i gun it, well the car in front of me slows down so i drop in behind him pass the car that was in front of me and get on it, he does the same, within about 15 seconds he drops back, I guess he heard my cai, cause I dumped on it in 2nd and 3rd to about 5k not to mention I already had him by about 2 cars. I'm not sure he was givin it his all, but don't understand why you would check someone and not follow through when you have a open road ahead *lol* anyway I won't call it a win, I would just say he decided against it.

The '94-'95 5.0 GT's[and the early 4.6s for that matter]were only rated 215hp flywheel[300lbft of torque though]and only put down 180-185rwhp stock. The 5 speed coupes were only good for high 14s-low15s,and thats in brand new condition. If it was a automatic as well as being a 'vert and close to stock it would be lucky to run a mid 15,so he might have been trying.
