x infinty +1.
Just do it and post up the results. If you get beat you get beat. If you win great. These threads are getting SOOOOOOOOOOO out of hand.
But I think you MIGHT be able to take him. All comes down to the driver.

Pretty sure the new V6 Stangs have 220hp. They run around a 15 flat in the quarter mile. You more than likely will lose. But it could be a drivers race.... could

Really it is close enough so if he screws the launch you will win, so just race him for fun. it should be decently close and fun to do. Do you know any more about the car? tranny/mods? If he is modded he should rape you, the 4.0's take to bolt ons like some forced induction cars do. Just go race him and see.

But like everyone said, just race him...if he's your friend don't sweat the result and just have fun and be careful.
LOL.

Also it takes a GREAT driver for the SS/SC to run low 14s.

Some of these posts are damn funny!
Wayyyy to much credit being given to the V6 Mustang here.
Is this some kind of joke that the V6 is being compared to the SS/SC? Hell I played with GT's in my SS/SC not V6's.
The V6 may hang until 30mph or so but then it's advantage is gone and so is the SS/SC.
From a roll it isn't even close SS/SC vs V6 " phony " package or not.
Whats a V6 top out at anyway 125mph, the 300HP GT is drag limited at 143mph.
