This thread isn't even about the sc/ss...someone said the v6 can beat it if the ss/sc screws the launch up, and there's a vid to prove that very thing. Now is the ss/sc quicker? Should it win? Without a doubt. If you played with GT's you must not have been stock and they were, because stock vs stock or mod vs mod a GT walks an ss/sc from a dig. And who cares what a car tops out at stock? How does that prove anything about how quick it is or isn't? FYI, both the v6 and GT have govenors, and the GT isn't drag limited at 143, it's govenor limited at 149. And an SCT tuner, which is probably the first and most common mod for both the v6 and GT, removes the govenors.

I have and the speed limiter isn't whats keeping it from going faster. The complete lack of power, poor aerodynamics and proper gearing is.

Yes, i have. Keep talking, you sound like a huge fanboy. The GT has a "complete lack of power" and the Mustang body has poor aerodynamics, and lousy gearing, lol...are you sure you drove one and not a Scion Xb?

You saying you run with a car that can run mid 13's is less beleivable than a 4.0 running with an ss/sc. very low 15's vs mostly mid 14's can be close enough to be a drivers race on the street. somehow you can't beleive that, but you think an ss/sc can easily run a mid-high 13 sec car (s197 gt). How is a 26k car that runs high 13's a joke when you drive a 33k car that runs low 13's? You make the dumbest arguments of all time in EVERY thread.
